about me
Hi, I’m Siria, a product designer shaped by a life full of creativity, curiosity, and quiet strength. I didn’t come into design through the usual doors.
I came through color and emotion, from the world of fine arts, where my hands were always stained with oil paint and my thoughts poured onto canvases. I was a painter before I was a problem-solver.
I shaped spaces as an interior designer, crafted clothing as a dressmaker, and studied fashion as a reflection of identity and movement. All of those moments taught me how to see people, how they live, how they feel, and what they need.
My journey has taken me across Mexico, the U.S., England, and Spain. Every culture I’ve experienced, every conversation I’ve had, has deepened my empathy and sharpened my intuition. I carry that with me into every product I touch.
I hold a Master’s in Fashion Management from BAU Barcelona, where I learned to balance creativity with strategy. Working at big companies like General Electric and Naviera Armamex taught me structure, operations, and how to bring vision to life at scale.
But beyond the titles and timelines, I’m someone who listens more than I speak. I’m practical, efficient, curious, and deeply loyal. I value honesty, I move with intention, and I lead with empathy. I’m the kind of designer who cares about how things feel, not just how they look or work.
When I’m not designing, I’m surfing, playing music, hiking through nature, reading about psychology, or cooking something inspired by the last place I traveled. I love learning. I’m not afraid of change, in fact, I run toward it.
I believe every challenge is a chance to grow, and every detail is an opportunity to care more. I guess you could say I’m a todóloga, a multi-passionate creative with a wide skill set and a big heart.
At the end of the day, I just want to build things that matter, products that are not only usable, but meaningful. Not just functional, but human.
